Silver Plated Cutlery Canteen - 44-piece/6-pax. - 235 Progression - Gero, Gerritsen Zeist - the Netherlands, 1954-1965
A mid-century silver-plated cutlery canteen —designed by Georg Nilsson—in the 235 Progression pattern by Gero, Gerritsen Zeist. This model was designed by Georg Nilsson in 1950 for the Gero factory and remained in production until 1965. The design still displays Nilsson's typical pre-war Art Deco influences, though it is also clear that this era is now well and truly over. The design is rounder and more streamlined. It comes in its original wooden cutlery case with a pull-out drawer. This canteen is in good condition, with some stains on the canvas (see photos).

- 6 appetizer/breakfast spoons (17.3cm)

The cutlery is in good, lightly used condition. There are mainly minor scratches and (polishable) oxidation of the silver. The case is in good condition.
All pieces are marked on the back with [GN][Letter][Gero][90]/
