A silver-plated set of cutlery by Christofle of France, from the Boreal collection. This Art Deco pattern, with clean lines and octagonal ends of the stem was designed in 1929 by Luc Lanel. Lanel designed a range of iconic products for Christofle during this period. His designs, including the Boreal, America, and Atlas collections, have won acclaim on the international stage, and have been used for the interiors of famous steam and cruise ships, among others.

- 12 dinner spoons
- 10 coffee spoons
- Large soup spoon
- Serving spoon
- 2 meat forks
+ 12 Art Deco dinner knives.
The dinner knives are not by Christofle, but added to complement the whole. The pattern of the knives fits well with that of the Boreal pieces.
The pieces are in good, slightly used condition. The whole also comes with two matching cutlery canteens for the dinner spoons and forks, and for the coffee spoons.
All pieces marked in the bowls of the spoons and under the tines of the forks with [O-Scales-C with 90][O-Chess Piece-C] for Orfevrerie Christofle. The blades of the knives marked with [Spencer Sheffield].
