Exceptional silver-plated cutlery set from the Art Deco period, made by the French Orfevrerie Ercuis. The cutlery from the "Carthage" collection, featuring typical Art Deco patterns on the front and back of the pieces. This pattern was introduced in the 1930's. The cutlery set comes in its original canteen with three plateaus, allowing for tarnish-free storage of the pieces. The set is suitable for at least ten table guests and consists of a total of 118 pieces, including:

A total of 118 pieces
The pieces are in excellent condition and have been re-polished by us. This has removed most of the superficial scratches, making the cutlery shine like new again. Some signs of wear remain. The silver plating is completely intact.
All pieces are marked [O-Centaur-E][ERCUIS][90-60-x].
Ercuis is one of France's most renowned silversmiths, with a long history dating back to 1867. The firm was the purveyor to the French navy, and in the 1950's supplied luxury hotels and cruise ships on the Cote d'Azur with quuality tableware.
