A rare set of 11 silver plated dinner forks, dinner knives and dinner spoons, from the iconic Atlas collection by Christofle. These pieces of silver plated flatware were designed in 1929 by Luc Lanel for the first-class dining hall of the Steamliner S.S. Normandie, which sailed between Le Havre and New York. The ship finally sank in 1942.

In excellent condition.
All pieces marked on the inside of the spoon bowls, and under the tines of the forks with [O-Balance-C] above [CHRISTOFLE] and [O-Rook-C] for Orfevrerie Christofle.
