Christofle/Manufacture de L'Alfenide - Silver Plated Carving Set- "209 Paris" - France, c. 1935

A silver-plated Art Deco-style carving set from the "Paris" collection by Manufacture de l'Alfenide. In the first half of the twentieth century, this silver factory was owned by Christofle, through which the latter produced striking pieces in the Nouveau and Deco styles. This pattern is typically Art Deco, with a geometric design. The last photo shows the pattern in a catalog from the late 1940s.

Marked on the top of the handles with [M-Goat's Head-A within a diamond in a square] for Manufacture de l'Alfenide. The stainless steel blade of the serving knife is marked "Alfenide Paris Inox"
