Set of 12 Wiskemann Silver-Plated Knife Rests – Rococo Style – Belgium, 1930-1960

A set of 12 silver-plated knife rests crafted by the Belgian silversmith Wiskemann, dating to the mid-20th century.

These pieces are designed in the Rococo style, richly decorated with rocaille motifs, flowing C- and S-scrolls, and acanthus leaves.

Knife rests can be used to keep cutlery elevated and the tablecloth clean during meals.
