A Pair of circa 1830s Charles X Tripod Mercury Gilded and Patinated Bronze Candlesticks - France, c. 1830

A well patinated pair of Charles X candlesticks, of tapered columns supporting foliate cast candle sockets, on tripod lion paw feet and concave sided trefoil base. Remains of original mercury gilding on the base, tripod, and floral pieces. The column and exposed bronze have developed a wonderful green patina blending nicely with the remaining gilding.

In unrestored original condition.
