Silver Plated Cutlery Canteen - Puntfilet - 97-piece/8-pax. - Gero, Gerritsen Zeist - the Netherlands, 1945-1952
A beautiful silver-plated cutlery set, manufactured by Gero, Gerritsen Zeist in the late 1940s. The set consists of 97 pieces and is suitable for 8 people, including a generous collection of serving cutlery. In its original wooden case with 4 drawers. The cutlery is executed in the classic Puntfilet model. Silver-plated based on 90 and 100 grams. Consisting of:

The cutlery is in good condition, with light signs of use (minor scratches, some polishable oxidation of the silver.). The left tines of the dinner forks show wear, and there are some minor marks on the back of 4 breakfast forks. Otherwise, the cutlery pieces are in very good condition. The cassette is in excellent structural condition both inside and out. The cloth lining is stained; please view the photos for an impression.
All pieces are marked on the back with [letter][Gero][90][G-Z]. The fish cutlery appears to have been purchased later and is silver-plated based on 100 grams.
