A magnificent and complete 137-piece silver-plated flatware set by Christofle, in the elegant Rubans pattern, dating from the 20th century.
This impressive service includes a complete range of flatware for main courses, fish dishes and desserts, as well as a generous collection of nine serving pieces. The handles are decorated with delicate cross-ribbon motifs and bows inspired by the style of Louis XVI.
The entire set is housed in a luxurious brown storage case, featuring a hinged lid and three fitted trays, providing an elegant and practical way to store the pieces.

Condition
The flatware is in excellent condition. Minor signs of use are present, including fine surface scratches and occasional silver oxidation that can be polished. The antique knife blades show some spotting and signs of age.

Maker's marks
The pieces bear one of two sets of maker's marks:
Orfèvrerie Christofle: O–scales–C and O–chess piece–C
Charles Christofle / Christofle & Cie: C–scales–C and Christofle
The latter marks were used before 1935. The first set of marks was in use between 1935 and 1983.
