Antique Champagne/Wine-bottle holder - Louis XVI - 19th century - Festoons and lion paws
A beautiful silver-plated wine / champagne bottle holder. The piece dates from the end of the 19th century. The openwork bucket is richly decorated with garlands, lion heads and floral patterns. The bucket rests on fluted columns ending in lion's paw feet around a flower-decorated base. The neoclassical character of the Louis XVI style is perfectly reflected in the piece.
