Frenais, Armand - Silver Plated Dinner Cutlery - 37-piece/12-pax. Art Deco - Paris, c. 1920
Beautiful silver plated dinner cutlery in the original canteen. The cutlery dates from the early 1920's and made by the Parisian silversmith Armand, Frenais. Between 1877 and 1927, Frenais was active at 65, Boulevard Richard Lenoir (near the Bastille). The high quality of his goods did not go unnoticed, and Frenais offered a wide array of tableware and cutlery on par with the major names in the bussiness of the time. This cutlery set is made in the fashion of the time - the Art Deco style - with geometrical shapes. On the backside, the pattern ends in a fan.

In pristine condition. The cutlery has maintained its luster and only bears the most minimal of scratches.
