A richly decorated set of silver-plated servers for fish dishes. These pieces were manufactured at the end of the 19th century at the Orfevrerie Wiskemann, in Brussels. During the 20th century, this company rose to become one of the most renowned silversmiths in Belgium. These pieces are equipped with a gilded blade, beautifully engraved with motifs of aquatic plants. These decorations are typical of the last decades of the 19th century. The stems with a classic Rococo pattern, on which surprisingly enough empty surfaces remain. This makes the decorations exuberant, but not excegarrated.
