Orfevrerie Gallia - Silver plated 3-piece Louis XV Tea Set - Rococo - France, 1900-1908
Imposing silver-plated tea service in Rococo style, made in France by the Orfevrerie Gallia (Christofle ) between the years 1900 and 1908. The tea service is of a heavy quality, with lobbed jugs, finely chiseled decorations of scrollwork, cartouches and acanthus leaves. The pieces each on four floral feet, the handles of the jugs separated by porcelain discs.
