Silver Plated Art Deco Cutlery Canteen - 122-piece/12-pax. - Bouillet Bourdelle - France, 1945-1950
Beautiful silver-plated canteen of cutlery cassette in the Art Deco style. The cutlery was made by Bouillet Bourdelle in the years between 1945-1950. This complete silver-plated cutlery set is suitable for twelve table guests, the pieces executed in a streamlined Art Deco pattern on both the fronts and backs. The whole comes in its original red cutlery canteen with cylindrical shaped handles and three insertable trays, in which the cutlery can be perfectly stored.

Marked in the bowls of the spoons and under the tines of the forks with [BB][84gr].
The cutlery is in excellent condition. Some superficial scratches from use are still present, as well as some (polishable) oxidation of the silver. Please refer to the pictures for an impression. The canteen itself is in excellent condition, although the lock is missing and the folding lid no longer closes completely. The inside is pristine.
Bouillet Bourdelle was founded in 1896 and still exists to this day. It was once situated in Paris at the rue Grange-aux-Belles. At the start of the 1930's it took over the silverware factory Caillard-Bayard.
